With the effective support from AsiaInvest Group and joint efforts of the Organizing Committee, the two business events within the framework of Spotlight Singapore in Vietnam 2023 were held successfully in Hanoi on October 20 and in Ho Chi Minh city on October 23.
The first Business Conference took place in Hanoi on October 20 with the participation of the Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Tran Duy Dong, Singaporean Senior Minister of State for Defence and Manpower Zaqy Mohamad and Singaporean Ambassador to Vietnam Jaya Ratnam together with nearly 300 businesses from both Singapore and Vietnam. The event in Ho Chi Minh City on October 23 also attracted a similar number of delegates.

Speaking at the Hanoi event, both Singaporean Senior Minister Zaqy and Vietnamese Deputy Minister Dong shared that the Business Conference is an important activity within the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam-Singapore diplomatic relations and the 10th anniversary of the bilateral strategic partnership, with the aim to learn about each other’s investment environment and cooperation opportunities. They also encouraged businesses of the two countries to actively seek cooperation opportunities based on the effective utilization of the strengths and potentials of the two countries.
At the business event on October 20 in Hanoi, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Bach - Chairman and CEO of AsiaInvest Group participated in the discussion session "Navigating Success: Prospects and Challenges for Businesses in Singapore and Vietnam" together with speakers from FPT Vietnam, SEA Group and SLP. Mr. Bach shared with Vietnamese businesses about his experience in establishing and operating businesses in Singapore, as well as gave useful advice to Vietnamese businesses who are considering expanding their business to Singapore.

At the two events, in addition to receiving valuable experiences shared by the speakers, businesses from the two countries had the opportunity to interact, connect, and discuss the potential for cooperation and business expansion.
